May I on an island very few things take with, this CD would be doing (besides my family, P + P and North + South of E. Gaskell). For years, this CD beautifies us the run up to Christmas and enchant us anew each year. Music and lyrics can be issues like the winter, Santa Claus and the contents of the Christmas message to fuse together to form a unit that touches and enchants. From "The year comes to an end" with the contemplative "Dezember dreams" about the lilting "Christmas" to be charming Zuckowski Christmastime reminisce and speaks to matters of the heart, without being cheesy or stubborn sticking to church traditions. It's great the dialogue of Nicholas and Santa Claus in the same song with the clever insight "Every child makes his own image and it believes firmly in mind .... but it can only enter into his heart, making it larger and himself small. " Tolerance, compassion and hope are the key messages of his Christmas message he atmospheric and unforgettable sets with its children's choir in scene. My all-time favorite songs are "middle of the night" and the beautiful "Little Green Wreath" but every song on this CD is a catchy and like children and adults alike.
Thank you, dear Rolf Harris and Anushka and all the other children for this beautiful music!
