"On a day like today" is a typische- Adam cal epic. Bryan Adams revels, languishes, and draws all his love hungry listeners, or listeners under its spell. Very demanding the lyrics are not exactly, but you can so much the better sing. The background music is used to pop, catchy, real earwigs. This is true mainstream pop. But not meant negatively. The Mister Adams accomplishes what he does well, and sounds yet so sympathetic to that one removes him his every word. He's just like the boy next door, a favorite in-law. But songs like "On a day like today," or "How do you feel tonight" are just so wonderfully melancholic. Although Canada does not currently produces many successful international music acts, as Bryan Adams is a real find in the nation certainly is pretty proud. To make it short: Bryan Adams makes beautiful music, no more, and certainly no less!
