Synology, always at the forefront of performance

- I acquired this new Synology NAS to replace my DS211 (2 bays equipped with 2 * 2TB). Nothing to say about the data migration: the reconstruction of volumes is still a bit slow, but the Synology community (forums, tutorials ...) is useful.

- Most of this product:
* 2 gigabit ethernet ports, accepting the link aggregation
* Mounting hard drives without screws, all hot ^^, reconstruction of volumes is automatic
* 3 USB ports
* OS and especially the house "DSM", based on Linux

- If one were to find less:
* Perhaps the lack of integrated Wifi?
* Synology some applications are still being ported to the new architecture (ARM processor) that this NAS team - but we expect that all this will be resolved with the future DSM 5 announced for January 2014!
