I would like my own experiences with the Tablet reports (positive or negative).
Positives:
- Fast CPU (liquid working)
- Some nice enhancements to Android 4.2.2, without overloading the Tablet
8 inches ideal for me -
- OTG-USB port (works well with my 500GB NTFS disk problems!)
Negatives:
- I now have the 3rd tablet and am still inconclusive whether the quality assurance at ASUS really works?
- 1 tablet had a display problem (halos above and right)
- 2. tablet has been exchanged, as when you press the touch panel air (not exactly localize where) out of the machine very audibly escapes (at 7 inches Memo Pad happened my son's not!). The service staff at MM have never heard of - 3 tablet is still open here, but not activated, because here this "air" phenomenon (as well as the exhibitor model in the market) is available, I will now times try at ASUS to get someone to answer the phone if it is "normal" or possibly a series problem?
- When you play longer, I personally feel that the back (there sits the battery or GPU) is quite warm
Conclusion: For 249 too expensive, for 199 well - also with "air" I'll keep the Tablet
Question: Who has in his memo pad 8 also this "air" phenomenon? Would be very interested.
Update: The further inquiry at the ASUS support has at least given the feedback that this "air" problem probably is due to design (though the nice man in receiving the request was also very skeptical as to whether this is "normal" is!). I'll keep it.
