The unit is - properly processed and does what it should - especially for the cheap price. However, it needs to heat 3x as long as our 20th-year-old predecessor device, although it has a higher performance. 1L cold water is brought to the boil in approximately 4-5 minutes. This is partly because the base is small and thus a higher water column has to be heated at the same volume. However, do not make so much that. I suspect the device simply has a poor efficiency due to cheaper materials in the heating coil. Conclusion: I would not buy it again, but who the heating time is not so much interested, here gets a good price-performance ratio.
