The new album by Yusuf brings him back to his musical roots of blues and R'n'B. At first I was a little disappointed that only 5 songs are original compositions. The first time you listen to it the songs were 'cat & the dogtrap', 'Doors' and 'I was raised in Babylon' speeches (everything new Yusuf compositions) that resembles me. Cat & the dogtrap is the song which returns me directly to Cat. The vote is for me very close to that of 'Foreigner', vulnerable and open. 'Doors' is also an emotional highlight, the insights of a great traveler. Yusuf's covers convince with their own point of view and style, here especially 'Dying to Live' and 'You Are My Sunshine'. All in all an album not only for Cat fans. An album that is musically, lyrically and vocally convinced and consistent.
