The temperature sensor is built deep in the housing on the board, and therefore receives from the temperature of the air with little. The heat capacity of the plastic case is too big. It takes several minutes until the temperature display reacts (eg in winter open the window, it takes 10-20 minutes for the temperature display approximately the now ice-cold room temperature display). In contrast, the hygrometer is very responsive, the final value of the change of rel. Humidity in the example above shows it after a few seconds. Selbigs applies to the external TFA Thermo-hygro transmitter 30.3180.IT, also here the temperature sensor sits hidden deep in the body.
Conclusion: To measure temperature change slowly useful (eg outside temperature), otherwise only rel. Humidity. Way too expensive.
Opinion: Too Bad. The functionality is good, but the design is totally failed. Manufacturers in Germany - how can this happen?
