And when I did not need long to consider the second part of Overlord on the shelves stand. The combination of a dark lord who can dish out powerful, and the minions who are dedicated solely to the dead, but even to subdue truck large arachnids or a bunch of Roman soldiers in the crowd, I liked in the first part. To pack these two elements together with an intuitive control and a huge portion of black humor in a fantasy game world, is simply managed.
A really simple "racing around, do everything up and lös here and there a puzzle game" turns out to be through the appropriate use of thugs (Brown for bashing, Red for kindling, Green to attack from behind and Blue as medics and only float) as consistently appealing. I rarely had moments of frustration, because certain tasks were not very clear.
Annoying I found only the change in the magic system. Where the first part came down nor evil destruction in fire form the enemy, so it is in the second part, a blue flash, which leaves quite unspectacular evil hero. Hence the one point deduction. This may sound somewhat exaggerated, but the atmosphere disturbs the long term.
The innovations of the tower, however, are managed. This now works one hundred percent like a temple of evil and provides the reason her only sporadically new possibilities, but everything much better packaged.
One point I would like to mention. For fans of black and malicious humor this game is a gem of the game world, all those to whom, for example, small seals and hares babies at heart, I guess the jokes not to be taken too seriously.
Finally, I give a definite buy recommendation for anyone who liked Overlord. And for those who do not know the first part, I think to Overlord II is worthwhile anyway.
It's just one of a kind from my perspective.
