Test under severe outdoor exposure

The Result:

-The Lamp is by far at least 8 hours subjectively regarded still as bright as at the beginning (For details about the endurance see below).

-The Lamp is mediocre isolated against sand. However, very fine sand coming through the thread, despite the O-rings.

-The Lamp is really in front of plenty of water - Officials: Splash proof - protected in heavy thunderstorms from all sides. Everything down to the inside of the lamp was soaked through, and the lamp was 20-35 minutes underwater contact.

-The Lamp was at different temperatures (10-35 °) an anytime and always reliable.

-The Lamp is keeping from a fall of approximately 1.00m on gravel least 3x with no scratches or wobbles or other blemishes.

Comment on the pressure switch:

The lamp has NO modes such as reduced brightness - The switch is a simple on / off pressure switch, and for example. SOS lighting is so erstmal not so easy.

Comment on the operating heat:

I have found no such strong warming as with other reviewers on the LED front. Maybe it was my mind that the lamp has been active in rather cool nights especially. The lamp was only lukewarm on the LED even after 30 minutes of continuous lighting.

PRO

- Practical Design; Lamp lie comfortably in your hand.
- Operation possible with one hand.
- Very large range (with me loose to 40m) and clearer light cone perspective bahr on 20m.
- Very high brightness.
- Housing is very stable and handle grip works aussreichend under heavy water contact.
- Lamp after approximately 30 minutes of continuous lights barely warm front on the LED.
- Lamp can be fully disassemble (in 3 parts) and wait.

CONTRA

- Brightness is not adjustable. At Close Range extremely bright (One just has a small motorcycle headlights in his hand, but sometime annoying with the visor!)
- No pocket clip, no carrying device (strap, belt etc.)
- No light modes, and no touching of the switch possible.
- Bulb does not need extra batteries.
- Batteries are very expensive to purchase.
- For me, the luminosity has extremely strong decline after 12h operating until the lamp is actually no longer in use now. (!)
- The lamp can be after repeated screwing not bring 100% strength in the initial fit of the thread, which is pollution risks.

Conclusion: Rather disappointed, still ok for the price.

I hope this review can benefit many customers to decide whether they can do this lamp or not. The lamp is ok for the price (waterproof and stable), but it's more a toy and not a reliable outdoor unit (no shoulder strap and short endurance).

Allegedly, the batteries are particularly resistant to the cold, which was for me the reason to buy - this I could not test unfortunately.
The short endurance is certainly also due to the excessive brightness.

I would not recommend it due to the extreme brightness as small flashlight for the car but for people who really want to see a lot. As a detector, the lamp is really well suited, for example, because you can illuminate large areas in a clear white.
