The lamp was now about a week in Lapland at temperatures of -15 °. The batteries are not discharged as other electrical devices slowly, but resisted the cold satisfactory.

The lamp has fallen while ice fishing in an ice lake.
The lamp was burning on the bottom of the lake for at least 1-2 hours more !!!

If that's not the most brilliant outdoor flashlight is ?? 5 stars are the least she deserves!

I have the lamp on long-term 1 week resistance to sand and 3 times tested on function in thunderstorms and heavy rain (wild camping).

The Result:

-The Lamp is by far at least 12 hours subjectively considered still as bright as at the beginning.

-The Lamp is very well insulated against sand. Although very fine sand coming through the thread, but because the lamp is easy to clean, that's no problem.

-The Lamp is really in front of plenty of water - Officials: Splash proof - protected in heavy thunderstorms from all sides. Everything down to the inside of the lamps was soaked through, and the lamps were 20-35 minutes underwater contact.

-The Lamp was at different temperatures (10-35 °) an anytime and always reliable.

-The Lamp is keeping from a fall of about 1.20 m on gravel least 3x with no scratches or wobbles or other blemishes.

Comment on the pressure switch:

Because that was not quite clear to me:

The lamp has a continuous mode (pressure switch on the rear end), and you can also tap to shine as SOS. The lamp has but no other modes, such as reduced brightness.

PRO

- Practical design with carrying strap.
- Easy Zoom and complete one-hand operation possible.
- Very large range (with me loose to 40m) and clearer light cone perspective bahr on 20m.
- High brightness
- Long battery life (despite only 3 AAA)
- Housing is very stable and handle grip works under heavy water contact.
- Excellent price / performance ratio
- Lamp after approximately 30 minutes of continuous lights barely warm front on the LED.
- Lamp can be very good disassemble and maintain.
- Lamp comes with 3 spare batteries.

CONTRA

- Brightness is not adjustable. At Close Range extremely bright (One just has a small motorcycle headlights in his hand)
- No Pocket Clip
- No light modes like LED Lenser MT or T series available.

I hope this review can benefit many customers to decide whether they can do this lamp or not. I'm with the lamp especially really pleased for the price, because it is above all very reliable and durable.

I would because of the extreme brightness and normal batteries (cold-sensitive despite carbon housing !!) not recommended as a small flashlight for the car but really as tangible outdoor workhorse!

Tip: Another free hand light modes can thus be simulated very well, but be careful - do not light up in his eyes, the lamp is really dangerous hell !!!
