Watch out. Or maybe not, because here comes now first basic what actually already everyone should know, the times called sometime a Nintendo console its own.
So you control Mario in a classic-style sidescrolling through different levels and worlds. As always linear. But this time, there is even less than usual to discover. There are two alternative routes that lead through another world to the last fortress. That's all ...
As I said: Who has eventually a New Super Mario Bros. plays part time, will think that he already knows it all anyway.
The only thing that is really new to the gameplay, is the merciless Münzflut, which is much greater than ever before. But what bothers me is this coin-hunting is an end in itself.
The makers have only done so because they thought that a coin-hunting might be fun. In addition, all ultimate coin-one field-items are always far too powerful.
So Listed: The coin-hunting has nothing to do with the game ... it is just ne coin hunting.
At the end of Level getting all coins are added to at some point the grandiose figure of 1,000,000 [spoken: one million!] Reach coins! Then you get something really great [Irony!]
Well, I've not made it, I was too stupid, I can spoil myself. I will not do to you, but let it be said that the gathering of these 1,000,000 coins the only Tedious about this game is [the difficulty is soooo easy impossible!], And considering what you need to make an effort to To achieve this figure, the reward is a bad joke! You can make it quiet anyway, but expect nothing meaningful as an extra-world or a new Mario costume.
Graphically the game is of course very nice and just as beautiful animated as New Super Mario Bros. Wii, only the 3D effect is not available for a ton.
Bad however is the sound, which is also the only thing in person around the New Series consistently gets on my bag. These goddamn music!
This gruesome Wah Wah didumdididumm tooting is annoying as ever and sounds as if it would be stolen directly from New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
Conclusion:
Based on my, partly really angry, criticism one might think that it is in Super Mario Bros. 2 is a really bad game, but the is not so. Objectively speaking, it is even a pretty good piece of software but a bitter disappointment ... really confusing, right? But it looks like this. The Game is a fun Jump n Run, which was durchgestyled perfect from start to finish, but it's too easy [only the very last level is somewhere a bit of a challenge] and also too fast to make matters worse over.
In addition, it offers so little new that New Super Mario Bros. 2 really degenerates for merely fan lining. New Super Mario Bros. fans can buy, all the others should borrow and gamble over the weekend, because it's not a Asuras Wrath, but is quite a bit of play in this game.
Bottom line: Rather disappointing.
