The cable worked well as far.
Then what made me skeptical was the long charging time. The original cable from the S5 than 2 hours, here loose 4 hours.
Yea, I have the same times the data transfer rate measured: No speed improvement compared to USB 2.0.
Now I wanted to know more. A look at the (at least blue) USB 3.0 Type A connector revealed that behind hidden away additional 5 pins missing! Ok, rausgeholt scissors, cut off the plug and lo and behold, just 4 cable strand. Even unshielded.
Now even auseinandergepult the Micro-B plug. As expected, only the 2.0 side is soldered. The additional part of the 3.0 plug is completely unoccupied.
I recommend to all buyers of this cable again to look closely. At least throw a glance in the blue Type A Male whether the rearward 5 contacts are visible. On my second mitbestellten cable these missed. Disassembly but I have saved me.
