Undoubtedly, it is a good idea that to Heinz Erhardt's 100th birthday once all his recordings for the label Telefunken be summarized in a box. Although most of the present recordings have been previously published in various other compilations, but you had to expect when buying these recordings with significant overlaps, if you wanted to have all the shots. CD1 to CD3 contain all Telefunken singles, as well as excerpts from various readings and skits. Many of the poems and verses contained have become legendary and has become part of everyday vocabulary. CD4 contains a radio version of the play "That's what you them" in the Heinz Erhardt in his signature role as Willi Tiny (he later depicted in the movie) shines. The set would earn more than five stars because of Heinz Erhardt's unique humor and the compilation. Unfortunately, Heinz Erhardt's record in this issue are the "loudness war" have fallen victim: all recordings contained are completely overdriven and distorted. I dare even to say that it would have taken such a set a decade ago as a production error from the market and replaced with an improved version. I am well aware that many of the shots are older than fifty years in this collection and therefore the sound quality is not always optimal. Unfortunately, these recordings sound example on the 2 CD Set "There's nothing to laugh" (published in 1993) considerably better than on this publication.
