Customer Review

... Is really impressive. I knew Xandria previously not have me for once because of the praises of this album can be "misled" and can only agree in one: Who just plug the eyes, and does not know that this is not an early Nightwish album who thinks actually heard singing Tarja Turunen - and that is absolutely to be seen as a compliment. If you listen closely, you noticed quite a few differences, but they are marginal: Manuela Kraller but also sings an idea clear, with a trace less timbre, but a little less omnipotent than Tarja Turunen. Had Nightwish times better searched thoroughly by a successor, them eternal live issue Anette Olzon would have been spared, but that's another story.
Never to World's End: Super voice, great opener and otherwise some great songs, but also a couple of 08/15-song, the only well-behaved the Trade Marks of female-fronted metal processing, without being somehow original. Overall, the songwriting forth not in the same league as Nightwish (except the very kitsch ... - uh - we say, "atypical" Imaginaerum). Best compared with Wishmaster, but the opener would rather take care of Oceanborn and a few parallels to Century Child are also recognizable. This leads to an overall album, with the symphonic metal fans determined not go wrong. A real Topalbum but missing but a bit originality and variety. Overall well-deserved 4 stars.
