Today, 16 years later, that feeling returns for the first time in this intensity back. I'm actually on a good level and have played over the years some classic games, but something like that I have not yet experienced. Perhaps this is not the best way for a neutral observation - but here is my impression:
- The graphics are stunning: lots of details, natural animation, fire and water look fabulous, a coherent overall picture. My graphics card battles audible to the pixel glory.
- Powerful sound effects complete the picture, I like their old dubbing voice better, the main theme is unusual but appropriate.
- The control has always been something for keyboard acrobats, but you learn quickly. Overall, I find it better than its predecessors - there are on-screen instructions.
- The plot is exciting and makes one curious. However, the story of how Lara is the adventurer was 1 told in the booklet to Tomb Raider slightly different - there what a plane crash (?).
- Extras like the action figure and the box are nice to look at and well made. Great that you can still make something to marvel at in the closet in today's download-era.
TOTAL is probably hard to read I like the game. I must say that I'm playing with the Nvidia 3D glasses. Who has good hardware and gets involved in the story, will not be disappointed.
