1997 Dylan brings for the first time in years a bomb strong album out, that can easily keep with his classics. After a (if you can call it with Dylan at all so) smaller period of weakness once again publish such a great album ... Respect !!! The whole album moves between blues rock, blues and country ... and how !!! Dylan's voice has changed enormously, as opposed to the 80 years. I find them more interesting than personal time (even if none of the 60's and 70 remain). Musically you can notice a significant increase here. Dylan acts here suddenly fresh and hungry for music. Not only he, but the whole band. The recordings for this album must have gemahct fun with so many great UDN strong songs. At least I can not imagine anything else. No matter what you consider ... Lyrics, vocals, band, sound or songs, here everything is just right. The first song "Lovesick" beats ever like a bomb. When Dylan sings this track it rips one out the entrails. Just lovely !! But the other songs such as "Not Dark Yet", "Make You Feel My Love" or the gigantic "Highlands" (with a playing time of over 16 minutes) to completely convince. Quite in contrast to the two successor albums "Love and Theft" and "Modern Times" (both of which are worth listening and their own qualities have) does not bother me at "Time Out Of Mind" the enormous length of the songs. Even though the Sings were great on "Love and Theft" or "Modern Times", they come for me nciht simply approached "Time Out Of Mind". Overall, "Time Out of Mind" is an album that does not have a good song. It has only very good, excellent and insanely brilliant songs. Certainly one of his best albums so far ... Please a lot more of it in the future !!
