Bets that the members of Midnight Oil definitely knew at the end of the recording sessions that they had just finished the album of their lives, and that of their worldwide breakthrough would thus succeed? Just as it was then, too.

DIESEL AND DUST has stood the test of time also so dazzling passed because it sounds pretty timeless and despite its slightly 'proggigen' mood is packed with great, catchy pop melodies. A grandiose mixture.

I have rediscovered this album after all these years just for me, and I am very happy.
