The best English grammar book! Written by a British (itself widely known in the world of teaching English to foreigners) and French, so you are sure that everything they say is present and 'standing' in both languages . This is not a grammar book 'basic', but a book that explains very clearly in French, the differences between English and French, be it for verb tenses, or for words vocabulary, etc ... Each explanation short, is followed by examples of phrases (translated), and a small exercise application with corrected at the end of the book. It can therefore be used to review or improve. Used by high school students (from the second, I would say) and also by adults in continuing education. You will not waste your time with grammar points that are not used anymore - you'll most. The only weak point, in my view, index, because you never know if what we seek it are in English or French. It takes getting used to ... but excellent value for money. PS Publishing is always the same, edition 1983. The coverage changes regularly, but not the content. The concepts remain valid, no problem.
