Two and a half years ago I first heard Ganes aware at a live concert in Hanau. I was bought immediately blown away by the natural and likeable stage presence of these three South Tyrolean Graces and I've followed all four previously released CDs. All are really good and yet there is again a significant increase from the first through to the penultimate CDs: Parores & Neores, in an increasingly strong personal style is characterized, for there is really no comparison: this is not a national, the is also no world music that is a mixture of Alpenpop, Jazz and beautiful melodies with perfect vocal harmonies and then presented in this strange language that I do not understand but that sounds like a blend of the finest proportions of all Romance languages (and where I immediately Lust get this language to learn, and that would make 30,000 active speaker / inner probably little sense). At first listen of Caprize I was skeptical at first: the pieces were coming much spartan compared to the previous CD, much more electronics, where in the previous CDs more classic band instrumentation (electric guitar, electric piano, bass + drums) in Vordegrund stood. Today, after what felt like 100 x listening Caprize I have to say this very sparse instrumentation and the use of retro drum machines, plitschernden water droplets (Sirena) strengthened again perfect harmony vocals, making the CD to the masterpiece. It is hard to compare with any other band Ganes, they really embody a unique style. The can like it or not (see the so far only negative criticism) when man like him, he does but addictive! My personal favorites: Caprize, Cuncè l'Coeur, a piece with elaborate instrumentation and correct course: Bang Ban bun: class as the piece initially therefore caught off guard - as just someone with 14 years of trying for the first time, "Rock and Roll" to play - and how it starts then to groove! Incidentally Ganes loose 'convey the mood of this CD in live concert with one another musician on keyboards. So the girls can really something!
