I tried it with some funds, the (branded) fat to be Lord, both in my gas grill, as well as in my smoker. Dr. Becher grill clean is the force. The Smoker looked after cleaning, despite some few Pulled Pork like new. I have the remedy applied directly to the surface and the grill grates and all the fat and the dirt came off easily, without having to scrub much. Short yet rinsed with cold water and finished was the "new flame" Smoker. The same applies to the gas grill.
So if you regularly grills and after a handful of sessions (or at least twice a year right and not only burning) would properly clean the grill, and wonderfully stylish Dr. Becher grill clean. Little effort to loosen the dirt, but you should consider wearing latex gloves.
