The disc starts with 'Kristallnaach', a slow onset piece that gradually develops into a groovy rock song. In the text of Altlinke Cologne Wolfgang Niedecken keeps us daily Kristallnacht before the nose: xenophobia and gays are regarded like criminals - where he is right, he's right. Major Heuser shows toward the end already, what he's got. It is still sparked a firework in the course of the album. There already equal to a perfect score.
The second follows' surfer ', a song about the classic super fellow, as we all know him' no opinion and it very much. The acoustic guitar accompaniment is the hammer. Peter Bursch wanted us to teach it 'mainly to have fun (for amateur guitarists). 5/5 points
The third song 'Tenth Juni' is about a demonstration in Bonn and is a great rock song. The solo of Major at the end rocking like hell 'very, very horny. The text has for years influenced my attitude to politicians and corporate arms and continues to this day still ongoing. Just read and translate (for non-Cologne) 5/5 clear
The adaptation of Dylan Like a Rolling Stone 'How ne stone' was a great success and rock, not as melodic as the original. Lyrically almost a translation of the text into Kölsche Dylan 4.5 of 5 points.
'Do can Put': Ahh, Oooooh, what a ballad !!! Lighter and sparklers warranty on every concert. Just awesome. Can you learn also simplified with Peter Bursch on the guitar. Original but getting better. Here Major has again outdone themselves composing a time and the solo again. Niedecken is in love and capable of anything and reflects wild times. 6 of 5 points'
Alaaf: In 'Nit for Kooche' one thinks at the beginning: 'Oh God, now she's caught'. It sounds namely a Bap original text carnival sound. One thinks one would be in the middle of a ceremonial meeting. But then follows a really hard rock song, in whose text the whole false, kölsche Karnevalsmeschpoke that's funny just a few days before Ash Wednesday, is unmasked really 'Wolfgang wuderbar. 5/5 points.
'Ahn' ner Leitplank ': beautiful ballad, but with a serious issue: the singer comes past an accident site and is of course affected. The music underscores slightly bluesy, mainly acoustic, the theme of 'the refrain goes right under the skin. 5/5 points.
'If et Bedde be worth däät': A well-educated Christian Niedecken here shows clearly his split opinion to the church. But he would pray for anything, what is important to him 'he is a good person. Musically, it's a very catchy rock song. 5 of 5 Pukten.
'One of Carmen de un Island' is perhaps the one love song too much on the plate 'but nice. Niedecken raves on a holiday island of his adored Carmen. The music conveys a certain I-lie-on-greek-beach-mood and thus remains liable. 4/5 points.
'Koot vüür Aach' describes the thoughts just before a gig. The law is: 'do not want a swirling mass, just bawling Köpp' .. that consumed me empty '. So always nice to listen to, 'but really worth it. The music is very quiet, melodic mainly acoustic piano. 4 of 5 points.
You can see the beautiful music of BAP just enjoy, but it is worth it only right if you also followed the not very simple texts. The guitarist Major Heuser rocking from right, the key man 'Effendi' Büchel helps positively helping. Steve Borg, the bass player, returns from the usual sovereign work. BAP here really show up as German rock band who do not indulge in the NDW-mania, however, have certainly benefited from this indirectly.
Conclusion: The best formative Bap album and thus five out of five very worthy.
