Regardless, this album exudes a downright mystical atmosphere and has (perhaps only by accident) a tension; the 35 minutes result in a harmonious whole for me. "Rubycon" seemed more like an acoustic journey through the shimmering underwater world on an alien planet. Initially still wading through a swampy landscape, but then you can immerse yourself in a clear waters and is weightless ... The music is sometimes scary, then delicate and beautiful, sometimes static, then rhythmically impulsive. But they never sag. Everything fits. This impression can already "Stratosfear" one year later, no longer offer.
Conclusion: Although TD then still should produce some listenable albums: This here - along with "Ricochet" from the same year - I think already for the culmination of their work.
