Warpaint from Los Angeles have expected at least one other distinguished US bands: they are part of the Celebrity haze circle the international music scene. And this they have been able to use quite positive for her career. The ex-virtuoso on guitar the Red Hot Chili Peppers, John Frusciante, put for example already on the debut EP Exquisite Corpse the band personally hand. Guitarist Theresa Wayman is romantically involved with James Blake, large clothing corporations back its commercials like the music of Warpaint and on their concerts members of REM and The National have been spotted. The National will be even the favorite band of Barak Obama. Whether that which is unpleasant, although is not known, but a relatively young band like Warpaint would be something probably a little too much encouragement. Warpaint are another intermediate result of the now nearly a decade ends located in the permanent mutation Wave and post-punk revival. It sounds Warpaint, the official second album, in long distances is not necessarily after, say, guitar-dominated music. Up to Keep It Healthy and Love Is To Die that satisfy the predicate indie rock most likely, the remaining ten pieces move somewhere between dream pop, shoegaze and trip-hop. The emphasis is on intermediate because Warpaint is as heterogeneous produced as the theoretical sum of the digits of the aforementioned genres suggests. Predictable Repeat there on Warpaint thus virtually not at all. But for all the puzzle pieces complement each other perfectly. The best represented perhaps precisely because of the cover, with its layers of photographs of four ladies transparent and distant sound of Warpaint. A few small outbreaks more would have been desirable and would have especially in the middle part in Teese, Disco // Very and Go in to run that Warpaint not need so save over time. Because in the remaining 3/4 of the album they come much better to train.
