In this second volume we find Karigan a year after his first adventures. The girl has had time to come back and finish school to start working for his father before finally giving in to the Call and leave for new adventures under the tunic Cavaliers Greens. His arrival will not be a luxury for the ranks of the riders are depleted due to the lack of recruits and as new threats appear to specify around the kingdom.
I plunged with pleasure in this second volume. We will learn more about the past of the Green Knights and kingdom with a history that goes some intrigues of the former. We find the same recipe, a lot of action, intrigue, fantasy, all well paced and no frills, nothing fancy but just a good time spent in the company of charming characters that I would find pleasure in the 3rd tome, The tomb of the supreme king.
