Customer Review

2003. It was a time elapsed after the last album "Chocolate Starfish" and there was a lot going on. Wes Borland had run away (restarted) helter-skelter and was only now and then look at some magazines to gossip about his old band (frustrated by the failures of his own, quite punk, projects). Limp Bizkit took a long break and provided their fans with a rather unsatisfactory Remix plate. Resolution rumors began circulating. No guitarist and no plans. Fear began to spread among the fans, while the LB-Hater were no longer able einkriegen sheer jubilation. But then happened in 2003 something the haters let the grin on his face freeze ... "Limp Bizkit have a new guitar player! You'll be back!" And different from before. Quite suitable for mass production, yes, but still amazing. Results may vary should the album are what should most take criticism. Just from the media, but above all by his own fans Where once reigned Nu Metal / Rapcore, now slightly shallower Nu ran skirt.

First single should be "Eat You Alive" be, bringing the five proved that they still got it have. Especially Mike Smith makes a good figure here, proving that even a Wes Borland is not infallible. Plus the atmosphere imperious midsection. Fits!
The corresponding bonus tracks are typical B-sides. "Shot" is quite good, while "Just Drop Dead", which was written in accordance with the infinitely embarrassing Britney Spears affairs story, is rather embarrassing.
For the total package so there's 4 stars.

Nowadays similar ists as then with a few differences: LB are much longer way, most people have forgotten already, Wes Borland is in an average supergroup landed (and expresses itself still negative over LB, out of frustration because he still unsuccessful has). But now slowly brewing again what together with the Family. Rumors about a new guitarist and photos from the studio with John and Sam. Let's see what comes up. Let's hope the best.
