The dead are dancing to gloomy music

"Spleen and Ideal" was a foretaste of the artistic potential of Dead Can Dance. With "Within The Realm Of A Dying Sun" the curtain opens. For me it is by far the best project of the duo. It once differs with its dark, ominous sound of "Spleen and Ideal" and rousing poetry. With "Persephone" Gerrard and Perry have certainly composed the strongest song on the album. "Persephone" may sound scary, over time discovered the listener also tender and resigned tones in it. The video for "Persephone" is amazing. Also sung by Perry "In The Wake Of Adversity" is a special, very human piece of music. "Windfall" stands out due to lack of vocals. I put the CD on since 2013, and the air is still not out. Dead Can Dance convinced with their second album the pickiest listener. Their music sounds timeless.

The sound has a special quality. I have very great respect for Gerrards and Perry's artworks. I know of no other comparable music. Both artists are unique in their work and be the "music" really lives. Who takes a liking to World and Neoclassical, which can safely "Within The Realm Of A Dying Sun" buy. For my part I can highly recommend the album.
