due to the contrasting reviews here so I was initially a little skeptical, but where else can you find such a cheap wireless printer?
So I bought the part and installed first under Vista (laptop). Went totally simple (as long as you follow the instructions) and worked right away. The first prints were also of good quality. However, so far I could only compare with my inkjet (from 2000). But both text and images were significantly better than ink (on plain paper). However, the Samsung printer has many settings, so that you sometimes one or the other should try there. As an example, you have the option to complete a document as an image to be printed, or as a normal document with text and graphic elements. When full graphic printing thin text appears a little ausgefrannst, at normal pressure it is properly sharp.
The installation under Linux (Ubuntu) has worked well within an hour. Again, the manual was helpful, but without googling it was not here. The procedure was described in the manual is not quite perfect.
But if you have even figured out how to start the installer, the rest is easy.
All in all a (so far) ordinary printer of his money's worth. A star, I prefer starting only because the handling is not quite perfect. I had, for example, inserted the paper cassette properly (I thought) but the printer did nothing. Only after I had accidentally stumbled on the cassette, he went off. He is probably a bit sensitive.
Otherwise, he is nice and compact and fairly quiet
