The introduction of the book is quiet and I had to find my way in the first pages time again in the world of the protagonists. Since the events of Prodigy few months have passed, and in the meantime, some have changed. The big test was abolished, peace negotiations began, and Day and June have since no longer talk to each other. Now the reader will witness the first meeting after this long period of silence, and the events come slowly rolling.
Days turmoil in view of the fact that Eden seems to be the only one who can ward off the destruction of the Republic, I could understand, although I was surprised something that only an all (day-long experiments) or nothing solution was in question. Perhaps a blood test would have already brought initial findings? During Days thoughts mainly revolve around his brother and about how much time he has, June and Andes have to prove themselves in the political arena. There is much discussion, options are weighed. Unfortunately, I found the end a bit too dramatically and as a little bit illogical. Nevertheless, the trilogy has found a degree that could satisfy me.
Champion is the final volume of the trilogy around Day and June. After a rather quiet start, in the options weighed and made plans, it was soon full of action, time is running the protagonists of it and do you have to fight what they love. Marie Lu has created with this book the exciting conclusion to a successful trilogy that should not be missing on the shelf of Dystopienfans!
