Worth the wait

With regard to the game engine, you should not expect any extreme changes to its predecessor. The engine of Bioware was reused, but added some graphical and control-related improvements. Now there are weather effects, such as lightning, snow, and the individual areas promise bigger and to be equipped with a little more "life".
The inventory management to have been made much clearer and more efficient.
Additionally there are a fast switchover of two weapons configurations, and some new car-behavior patterns for non-player characters (NPCs) in the group.
The most important changes will be but definitely to be expected in the design of the plot, dialogs and features.
The player takes on a new role, that of a veteran of the Mandalorian Wars, which was then banned from the Jedi Order because of some incidents and since then its ability to harness the power, has more or less lost.
The current situation in the galaxy:
Five years have passed since the death of Darth Malak and destroying the Star Forge. The Sith have forced back the Republic in the Core Worlds and those now stands on the brink of its destruction. The war and numerous attacks have decimated the Jedi considerably. The game starts on a mining asteroid about Peragus II where the player finds himself after a serious injury in a medical facility, but it is not quite clear how he / she has come here. (But do not worry, it will but be in no case back to a memory loss!)
Our "problem" will consist in the fact that we will be the / the "last known Jedi" (That does not mean that we will encounter no other Jedi moment during the game). For the future of the Republic and the Jedi Order, the player will play a decisive role (both for better or possibly even worse).
Of course we will also learn more about the whereabouts / fate of the main character from the last part ...
Here are some information to ever increase a bit the anticipation:
- Non-linear gameplay
- Who's playing: the output of KotOR1 will affect the action (optional)
- Probably gloomy atmosphere than the previous ("good people will again drive bad things", quote from a developer)
- We can again expect so about 6-7 planets, one of which have been already released most of the present time, including Dantooine, Telos, Onderon / Dxun, Korriban.
- As the title suggests, there are several Sith Lords, and their number will vary during the game yet ...;)
- Some companions from KotOR1 will have guest appearances, including Carth
- NPC: T3-M4, Kreia, Atton Rand, Mira, ... (up to 10 simultaneously in the group selection)
- All decisions taken and the membership of a page will have an impact on the group and its members in a dynamic way
- Members of the group are also sometimes go their own ways (just like in "Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back")
- Group members and their skills will be more useful than in the previous
- A number of new talents and power capabilities
- Items can now be built or broken down into its component parts.
- Laser sword will have six upgrade places
- There will be more to learn lightsaber combat styles
- In addition to the three entry-level Jedi classes, there will be six more, so-called prestige classes, which can be obtained, including "Jedi Master", "Sith assassin" and "Sith Lord".

So to make a long story short, the second part is an absolute must for all those who the first has already fallen well!
Who has not played the previous, be interested to hear that KotOR2 NOT vorraussetzt to have played KotOR1. Connoisseurs of its predecessor but also know to appreciate a reunion with some "old friends".
