the second solo album by Iggy that he has as his first solo with David Bowie recorded ....
the first album (idiot) was still very influenced by Bowie, Lust for Life is dedicated to the re more stogges times.
of the design, this certainly harder and more aggressive than its predecessor.
Bowie has indeed helped produce the most numbers and is usually found at the piano, thank God flows here but rather a iggys punk ....
this album has so at least more potential for me than the first.
That may be because I bowie would not necessarily count among my favorites ...
iggy the man in rubber, proves as hard and uncompromising, he could be. the whole album a single rocket at a good mood and atmosphere.
Furthermore, this album has aged outstanding from 1977, it still exudes uncanny fresh ....
What's to say about titles ??
9 numbers in a class ... quite simply ...
Here are two of the most important (for me) numbers come at all in the rock business ....
"Lust for Life": a fierce and vocal number. an evergreen. the hard-hearted background music with the drums is as ingenious as the catchy riff on the guitar or the compelling song of Iggy ---- world class in my eyes
"The Passenger" one of eingängisten guitar riffs ever ... well known by all the 80 parties ... the absolutely transparent singing drives the number of such ... unpackbar actually ... ;-)
the rest is very compelling:
"Tonight" that's probably quite clearly Bowie's handwriting ... an absolutely strong number with completely abgehobenden singing ..
or
"Neighborhood thread" influenced by punk number with great rhythm and brilliant text ...
the rest can convince clearly, but the comparison is somewhat ...
wurscht actually, a plate with new numbers and four of which are those firecrackers ....
the remaster is just great, great sound experience ....
Conclusion: very important disc with very large numbers who rock / punk like must have this disc easily .....
