This book is a true masterpiece. It's hard to sit once it has started. It tells a story largely unknown as he is a Cold War early. The Great Game is particularly challenging because most places, the protagonists apart from the heads of state and government are unknown, during playback, it often falls to the beginning of the book maps to locate the various protagonists trying memorize them. This history book could hardly be more romantic situations as reversals are frequent and this chessboard pawns subjected to the harshest conditions.
The Great Game should be read for lovers of history and for the curious who want to find some answers to the current situation of Afghanistan. To complete this reading, I can only advise the shadow war in Afghanistan of French Jean-Christophe Notin, this region remains the center of the major challenges for many decades.
