despite a first quarter triiste but triiiiste (Zola, nowadays, would not have found better as the subject of the miserable condition of certain human), I really liked this book for the following 3/4: the quest for reconstruction of these two frangines if sympatiques yet so different, is poignant, though not devoid of humor, and very skillfully the author explores the complicated maze of fraternal and family ties, through which these sisters like the first pages!
