The ingenious OPETH have reinvented ...

OPETH has presented some milestones in the past. Which are exactly the listener, everyone must decide for themselves. For me, above all, "Still Life" and was "Blackwater Park", the stand-out masterpieces.
"Delieverance" was nice, but brought nothing new OPETH.

From "Ghost Reveries" I expected then not too much and was so surprised that it blew me away at first hearing as it has rarely managed an album.

A perfect production, presented as are paired delicate tones in due course brutal hardness with unprecedented harmonies blast me in the air !!

This album has no failures or stopgap. Musical quality at the highest level.
I do not care whether it's disguised death metal or hard progressive metal; It's awesome !!

At no time boring, uninspired second to none, but each time new and fresh, with melodramatic draft. Once.

I want to "Ghost Reveries" from the state on an equal footing with METALLICA`s "Master of Puppets" or SLAYER`s "Reign in Blood" or QUEENSRYCHE`s "Operation Mindcrime" or CRADLE OF FILTH`s "Midian" or BATHORY `s" Hammerheart "; for that time, of course.
Rarely has me so excited metal music as OPETH accomplish here.

There is certainly so-called "hard-liner" or "Old-school" fans who will turn away from this masterpiece and lament the loss of death metal, but the objectively-minded metal fan can and will be inspired.
