The Game:
Everything is FF7 actually said in the reviews to the original game. The story is amazing and profound. Numerous retrospectives in the past attract a deeper and deeper into the story.
The characters are sometimes completely different and yet (or perhaps because) believable and fascinating. The graph can of course with today's games, 17 years new, not compete. But still the beautiful, detailed, pre-rendered wallpapers are still a feast for the eyes. The videos seen on the PC finally as good as on the Playstation and the annoying, former blocking omitted (reason alone would have been worth the Steam version). The tunes of background music you can actually evaluate only with school grade 1+. Aeris' Theme is and remains my absolute favorite, probably because of the role played by the eponym in the story.
The combat system is well thought out and leaves a room for development. The mini-games included (Chocoborennen, motorcycling, snowboarding, the strategy game at Fort Condor) can mean just hours of fun alone.
Conclusion:
For me, remains FF7 the best game ever and platforms. Anyone who has missed it then, now has the opportunity to compensate for this error. But even for an owner, the purchase is worth.
