After reading all the hype I plowed through this undemanding little tale searching for the hidden depths. I left unsatisfied. Sorry folks but there is no profound wisdom here! There is a pleasant enough simple story, but let's not kid ourselves did The Secret of Life Lies Therein! Try Voltaire's Candide instead.
