Joe Bonamassa holds high the banner of the blues, which unfortunately a Jonny Lang (almost) has dropped. Speaking of Jonny Lang - Lie to Me is the best blues album of the past 10 years, as long as it's been, that this disc has appeared for me. Joe Bonamassa reminds partly because every now and then one hears even the good old Alvin Lee through, but something is missing: the autonomy of the songs often leave much to be desired, the solos are not necessarily always the most original, the singing well, but somehow one has also ever heard. But as I said: It keeps the blues alive, so hats off and keep it up. Perhaps he succeeds times an unqualified success, this disc is not yet.
