A small pre-vote because I am not yet completely with the game through. An update will follow later.
Based on the X Box 360 version solllte the players know that WOLFENSTEIN with 4 (!) Discs comes along, which must be installed first. The need at least 8GB of free space. Whoever plays with no hard drive and only with Memory Unit, has bad cards. The DF is uncut, etwaiige Nazi symbolism has already been removed beforehand. In the game you do not talk of Nazis but only from "regime". About this kind of censorship is disputable: films like Schindler's List or Saving Private Ryan are also available with Nazi symbols and art get Oscars, in games you can see that with the artistic freedom a little differently. But the flow of the game and the atmosphere does not diminish.
WOLFENSTEIN offers excellent graphics, cinematic video sequences and a turned-hyped story. The design is somewhat reminiscent of the low-budget film FRANKENSTEIN ARMY, fits perfectly.
Those already played, levels are indeed kept linear, but there is back and forth also alternative ways that you can take. The shootouts are fun, but nothing groundbreaking. Ever is the gameplay, use a mixture of Shooting, Stealth and large turrets, frumpy. But fun is the funny regime Robot Hatz anyway. The blood content is also high, flying with the right Wumme actually even body parts through the air ... even in the DF !!!
Ansich everything's in here, which was removed in the predecessor, if one disregards the Nazi symbols. I just hope strongly that someone, somewhere, will not be returning a hidden swastika or the like, and the title is still drafted in the aftermath. So it was indeed the predecessor title.
Bombastic staging, but funny black-humored story (which is certainly very, told very entertaining) and, as I said, great looks make TNO a shooter event that really sets the mood.
A few bugs but then still there, now and then remain in the battle, the cartridge cases just before the players in the air stick, then there is floor panels, which promise ansich safe ground under their feet, the more flops you fly but then again a couple floors below.
Bothered me the date.
What's still very funny, is the way to describe the difficulty ... schauts you at times;)
Recommended and best shooter, who has come to me this year under the wing. If it should still give something to complain about, when I'm done with TNO, rich I still after.
UPDATE from 21:05 .: So now I've done it and gambled me through the game. Spoilers I want nothing, but promised only so much ... Although the story is not worthy of an Oscar, but very well kept and entertaining for a Game. In (extensive) gameplay is acting primarily from a secret base from which we approach all issues that are relevant story. Similarly was it in the predecessor. At headquarters then there also small optional missions that are not spectacular but at times funny (keyword: Max Hass) .The whole gameplay is designed so that you can choose how to approach the missions. Every now and then one is indeed forced to "covert" missions but mainly can be the target either surreptitiously or erballern. Here, the choice of approach is relatively unimportant because the AI is acting solely strunzdoof, only the heavily armored soldiers or the robo-cops are a bit trickier. Some of the polygon buddies even put on my happy knife stealth mission in a row on to be served)
Unlike dussligen KI least gibts abundant cannon fodder. Can highlight one that does not take too seriously WOLFENSTEIN and there are many funny situations. An example can be found in the "Mission" Nightmare: Here you can retro Wolfenstein gamble in his sleep;) Funnily incident. Ever sprayed the game a Charm somewhere between Antikriegsszenaro and satire, accompanied with good sense of humor.
Technical errors can not be hidden. First of all I have already written about some bugs, now comes even regular flicker to and the resolution of the textures looks from a distance of more than up close. But narrowing does not do the game ball.
I can WOLFENSTEIN each Shooterfan recommend the times feels like something trashy. Wolfenstein does not take itself seriously, but is very expensive, therefore, and the mixture of satire, seriousness and the great production makes it a highlight. And the size is not too bad either for a FPS ....
Great game, makes something of fun ...
