Heinz Rudolf Kunze is - so one thinks sometimes, especially when you get fattened up on the radio around the ears its most trivial songs - an honest songwriter, one of the last representatives of the lighter German rock, but somehow quite banal. Anyone who has heard the disc "The Golem from Lemgo", will say: Far from it. Recorded here is the "second literary program", taken at two live performances in Berlin, and heard, there is no known Kunze hits yet other superficial stuff, but art. Kunze, who studied German sometimes, waiting here with demanding texts, accompanied with ans Experimental bordering sounds of his band. The logical understanding they withdraw completely, they function more associative and emotional, without however losing its clout when it comes to show alarming tendencies of our society - Kunze they found almost everywhere, and he understands it, in a strange way, at the same time to present with humor and yet with abgründigstem, aufrichtigstem Ernst. An intelligent, downright surrealistic CD, and compared to the usual Kunze as definitely the rest plate market of: completely different. (This is an Amazon.com at the university-student review.)
