Théroc was attacked by hydrogues and saved from lannihilation by faeros and human fleet (including Tasia).
Jora'h became the Mage Imperator, realizing the magnitude of his task at the same time that the dark secrets of her race (including the future of Nina).
King Peter married Estarra of Théroc he is in love. It is now almost openly opposed to President Basil Hanse who tried to assassinate him.
Jess drank the essence of Wentals and became overkill.
And what's happening in this volume? Well not much. During the first 400 pages, the author does is consolidate the acquired positions and slowly develops antagonism towards Hanseatic Vagabonds. The pace starts racing that during the last 100 pages.
Do not expect great revelations. It is not for this one.
Still reading is always easy, helped by these very short chapters two to five sheets bearing each time on a different character. We remain interested in the fate of our heroes.
Hopefully the author through this narrative sets up, or at least continue the development for Volume 4: Suns split
