I have this camera in the color brown now about 3 years. With 14 megapixels and a 10x optical zoom to match today the "standard camera". For such a small camera makes the Casio surprisingly good photos and can even keep up with almost a reflex and is still extremely lightweight and portable. With a single charge you can great days, and make up to 1,000 photos. The camera stabilized all photos automatically DHES arise hardly blurred images. With the Premium Auto mode (which, however, to process the images a little more time than the normal mode need) to be attuned to situations like moving, landscape, portrait, ... recognized and settings. You can use the different modes, however, also set itself. Although the camera does not HD video, but it optimizes the video for uploading to YouTube. There are also creative modes such as oil paint, black and white, sepia, monochrome, and much more. In my 5 month trip to Canada she has proved loyal service to me and I was able to take many great pictures to take home. I recommend to buy a second battery, then you can leave the charger basically right at home :) Again all the advantages and disadvantages summarized: + Small, light and handy +14 MP for good image quality + Long battery life + Fairly robust + Modes (very good is the car Premium mode) + Stabilizes the image + Big screen + Very reasonable for the performance
-no HD etc. -a slightly older model (here perhaps the consideration of a similar recent models worth zuzulegen) Mir personally lack the Panorama function
