For women, it may be enlightening to know why they behave like. For men it is equally instructive and important - but now he can better understand and find explanations for totally incomprehensible for him behavior.
Also for (expectant) parents, the book is interesting. You have the chance, the actions of the daughters (and sons), whether large or small, to better assess and respond accordingly.
The author explains in a descriptive way, as the brains of women evolve and what consequences arise from this. The book abounds not before technical terms and is written in a liquid and entertaining style. Nevertheless it never loses its "scientific".
It describes the development in the womb (in male embryos dies a part of the Language Centre by the action of certain hormones from - in female embryos not!) About the early childhood through to the Teenager (here you will find for example an answer to the question of why her daughter an astronomical phone bill MUST have).
Other chapters deal with the themes of love and trust, sex (why women only need to "turn off" their brain to "turn on" sexual desire can), the mommy-brain (the baby, the baby, the baby, ...) , emotions and brain mature women.
For me (and my wife) an all around successful book!
