The problems sitting in detail

Anticipation, the stand look really bad and not work well, however, in my opinion, some weaknesses exist.

When assembling and handling the parts (except for the glass plates) you think all the time that you have scrap in hand. Visually, the pipes OK, but felt not dibasic. After I set up the stand, the upper and lower glass plate were with me not parallel to each other, but turned over the tubes in itself. You can now try to iron out, but for 80 euros I expect that I do not long "play around" must.
The upper glass plate (25 x 25 cm) has the dimensions of my boxes (18 x 21 cm) a strange format. The fit much fancier on a slightly shorter bearing surface - disturb the 5 cm protruding glass plate and allow the overall picture to appear funny.

At the same time I had the boxes stand V2L Black Line (* long version * of glass / aluminum with spikes, 2 columns, integrated cable duct) ordered from minify. These are a total of 3 cm lower than this of Hama. When unpacking, I thought at first that it is the same stand (only with a tube less). The glass plates are definitely from the same manufacturer, have only the glass plates of V2L stand where the tubes are seated, a type of guide / adapter which prevents Insichverdrehen during assembly. The type of assembling something seems "valent". Everything is straight and looks chic. Likewise I welcome the "open-end wrench" replacement that comes with. The only known by the Swedish furniture manufacturer. The upper glass plate is 25 x 20 cm in size, so that my boxing do there no lost visual impression. One must still keep in mind that both mentioned by me here stand have the cable run in the thick tube and these ends via / below the glass plates. Thus, one always looks a little cable on the glass plate above the box below and leader on the glass plate in the pipe as possible. Now you might think, a hole in the glass plate would solve the dilemma with the visible cables, but this works if the boxes have their connections only on the bottom. If the connectors on the rear be, the boxes would have to be slightly tilted to the cable. This is boxing dependent and should not be included in the rating. A hole in the lower glass plate could have been, so there the cable disappears.

What else do I expect at 80 euros are 8 washers for the spikes. This also does not lie with the V2L here, but which are much more favorable for 49,95 + 4,00 Euro shipping and (at least for me) to leave a much better impression.

The V2L there were only two points where I was unhappy in the short term. Both could be solved easily:
1. On the lower glass plate, the receptacles for the spikes already exist. Without spikes could use this as feet, if you have a floor that allows that and does not have to be decoupled. For me, the boxes are PVC-bottom - so that I can use no spikes. However, is located at the bottom also the mother of the threaded rod (here compared to the Hama-speaker stands in the tube integrated) that holds everything together. The amount of the mother adjusts to the feet without spikes. However, the threaded rod was slightly beyond, so that they stood out without Spikes in my linoleum floor. Troubleshooting: Washers ordered and spikes it. Whether the now all-V2L stands of production is so or I have made simple when assembling a mistake, I can not say.

2. Two of the eight spikes were not clean processed on the thread, so that these could not be screwed into the feet of the glass plates. Short minify written and get a few days later a complete new accessory.

Other buyers mentioned, and the glass plates still chipped corners and scratches. This I can not confirm. The glass plates and tubes of each foot were packed very well and completely in order.

Keep I have the V2L. Those which the 3 cm difference in height do not mind, can I stand just put your heart and discourage the Hama Speaker Stand here.
I can say based on my experience not buy rating on the Hama-speaker stand to the people who unpack, assemble want quickly and without "craft expense". The people who create it, just build the stand then get a beautiful product that the V2L at least not visually inferior.
