The article gets by me only 4 out of 5 stars because it contains minor flaws in the operation.
mE positive features:
++ Great red on / off switch
++ Large display
++ Temperature in ° C / ° F, including weekday in German
++ Clock
++ Compact housing
++ Defined keystroke d. Small buttons (Gameboy-like operation with two thumbs)
++ Simple everyday operation (alarm, on / off, light, "Snooze")
++ Continuous lighting switched off
+ Continuous lighting only in the dark by the light sensor
mE neutral / low negative features:
o Long light / "Snooze" button is not pressed evenly. This feels strange. (If you press the right, it is also almost pushed just right.)
o The RCC button has two functions, but insufficient in the guide explains (press 1x: ° C / ° F changeover, press 2s: Update Time via radio - if radio signal present)
o The device recognizes the year, but not display them (they can even manually)
o The alarm beeps for 60 seconds maximum on a moderate volume, with max. 4 x snooze x 5min.
o The alarm setting is not shown by default, but only when the alarm is turned on.
o Several adjustable alarms would perhaps be desirable to operate but would certainly make more complicated.
mE negative features:
- Alarm setting requires a 2s-pressure on the "Alarm" button. This has somehow cumbersome. A faster option is desirable.
- After manual adjustment of the language (in one go with the time / date) shows the clock at no radio reception. This is confusing. Eventually he is but reappears.
This round is expected a good device and other alarm clocks certainly one-upmanship.
