This CD box underpinned with incredible force the Legendruf of Led Zeppelin as one of the best live bands of all time. Recorded in two concerts in June 1972 at the LA Forum and the Long Beach Arena, This 150-minute long compilation shows the performance of the band in a never before captured power and brilliance. The set list reads more than authentic, all represented here live versions exceed the previously officially available by far. Surely you can hear the odd game error, you notice now and then a crackling of the amplifier, but all this makes the recording only alive. The sound is still utterly brilliant, warm and in the middle between the eyes! Here is a shot in the musicians play together, improvise and with heart and soul into it. No song is only played every song is celebrated. After the last sound of this album, one of the loss of the band by the early death of Bonham is even more painfully aware than ever before. Personally, I have seldom heard a live recording where the sound and musical quality is so phenomenal. Absolute madness !! Just a pity that Mr. Page, the fans had to wait 31 years to this groundbreaking publication!
