The texts are clear and alive. The history of each of these big ideas, their advantages and disadvantages, their progression in time, examples of brand who implemented them, different countries and stories are what is offered in short paragraphs on extended a page (well, rather say half page).
For figures, I have loved since I knew hardly any of them. The vast majority is in color and there in full screen. Contrary to what is said in another review, they seemed to me a quality quite good ... perhaps there he has trouble to print a few copies (this happens, unfortunately) . For cons, the back cover of the book says "Beautifully illustrated": this seems excessive. It is a beautiful book, but not exceptional either.
So I would say that if you are like me, starting in advertising, but want to discover it for the first time, "Great ideas that have revolutionized the pub" is a good choice. Personally, I am satisfied ... though will have to complete. Bibliographic tracks are also given at the end, however, they are not totally convinced me to the extent that they are highly targeted for the majority. A substantial list of more general books would have been welcome.
