With this album - "Quiet Nights" - Diana Krall delivers a album (2009) superb, close enough to the famous "The look of love" from there some years. The "jazz diva" still has that same languid and mesmerizing voice, accompanying herself on the piano. The arrangements are well kept, sensual atmosphere ("Quiet Nights" is possibly to listen later, in love). All the songs are very good. Special mention, however, for the following titles: 4 beach (the famous standard "The boy from Ipanema"), track 5 ("Walk on by"), beach 7 ("Este Seu Olhart"), beach 8 ("So Nice" ) and 9 ("Quiet Nights" - as having given its name to the album). Between jazz and bossa nova sometimes Diana Krall we really treats with this magnificent production.
