To take up the thread, weak moments that you want to have, it was on the HRK albums of the recent past to want some. Now it may most Kunze-lovers indeed be warmly schnuppe where each places the new album of brand HRK in the charts, he himself is not. Kunze has never claimed to want to make music only for the highly intellectual distillate our society and therefore always tries to continue the symbiosis of the brain, heart and dancing. The absolute harmony of all three essential components never succeeds almost, perhaps most likely to "prodigies" (1986), "Glasses" (1991) and "Stop" (2001).
Now the focus of the studio albums in recent years was at times but a bit too laid on the dance floor. What with "clear conditions" (2007) posed as a marked tendency has been intensified on "Protest" (2009) and peaked early last year on "The advantage of the situation" in HRK but partly arg unusual triviality. War "Longer days" from protest album not only ohrwürmiger but also completely original and lyrically well-made pop hit was "A hundred thousand roses", the harbinger of the next drive, but then almost an insult and somehow only dancing , almost no brain. This was so then, of course, not for the whole album, but was afraid of so many Kunze Head and Heart Before Zuger that HRK would now soon proceed with Andrea Berg for action - public, on stage, singing! The fear is, of course, entirely unfounded, because presumably even a sock worn by Kunze would achieve a higher intellectual altitude, as the songs of the values Frauenberg. But she has nicer legs, sorry Heinz!
And apropos duet: Earlier this year, came actually with "I am" is an album full of duets rand. It must be mentioned with praise indeed times. It is highly unusual and uncommon that a record company allows - I know without research no long second case!

I do not want to throw superlatives to me now, the Kunze has already concerned itself. He referred to "in here, out there" than his white album (the legendary double-album the Beatles and for many their best overall). And who am I worm to contradict the Master? He's right. He just right!
One could also say, his best album since 1980. And heck, probably for that very reason it will not be successful are.
He has it all down in this drive (s) into what was a little too short in recent years: thoughts in all imaginable and unimaginable especially directions. Verquer (Heinemann and the Norwegian / speech), deep (It's war / Well), bitingly polemic (The threat), ungekitscht emotional (Song for Berlin), winking critical (In the next life I'll WAG / Do not take it personally) and so rough clumsy silly that it is art again (seat).
Musically the plate Popfrei. It is prepared with exquisite ingredients of folk, blues, country and a tiny pinch of rock, a little bit maybe Chanson and many indefinable noises in the Non-songs.
