Third album of the famous group of Californian rock-fm, "Turn back" is one of my favorite. Yet it is perhaps the least known (no tubes, wallet could not be more ugly, this explaining that). The songs are pretty simple overall, not progressive hints like "Hydra" nor brass as on their debut album. But simple does not mean bad, far from it: instead, the titles are quite inspired, often with hard guitar, and sometimes superb melodies ("A million miles away", "Turn back", the ballad "If it's the last night "notament). If "Turn back" has no other pretensions than to have a good time the listener, it has the merit of proposing eight homogeneous pieces (no fill), pêchus but quality.
