When this album was released in 1977 Westlife still looking for the right sound and how he wants to convey this. But you have to attest some qualities that were missing the two predecessors this album yet. First there is a thinning of the sounds and the arrangements down to earth. Here we have for the first time are a real rock album by Westlife on. Second, he is here vocally finally arrived arrived where he always wanted to go. He can no longer pack in a corset. It seems somehow exempt. Here he begins to count the vote, to tubes and creak. Everything what should make him famous later. And thirdly, the songs are much dirtier, the lyrics give an idea already that because soon a quite on the k ... skin. The majority of the songs is then already pretty neat. You notice an upward trend compared to the two predecessors. "Dreamer" is a great rocker. Just as "your duty" "Do not be surprised" and "I'm off to have rhyme" The latter would be well done on the successor. With "caricature" is then even a great ballad here. The rest does not last throughout the year. Nevertheless, I forgive 4 stars. As a direct predecessor to "peppermint" surely that is again an extremely important panel for Westlife been. Here he shows for the first time so follow signs all his facets, which then completely came on the successor to the outbreak.
