The classic Ne Beautiful Jrooß and Stollwerk-Leed and Hang De Fahn Eruss are seasoned rockers. Ne Beautiful Jrooß has this to offer almost a reef like Money For Nothing and the keyboard grooves wonderfully in the stereo mix. Wat Ess and Anna come more relaxed, therefore, the latter even slightly jazzy and percussive. A perfect summer song.
Can you help no one is a most poignant and most famous of BAPs ballads.
The song of the Querjestriefte woman comes with a funny story, therefore (like cereal Män later), the music would have fit well on Dylan's Blonde On Blonde. Interesting arrangement with piano and brass.
By Me Uus Kitsch takes a lot of Do Kann Zaubre and surfers anticipate which are also mostly arranged minimalist to an acoustic guitar melody. Niedecken describes there in simple words the feelings from the first auxiliary loose in love.
Kumm Op Min Sick is the strangest song on the album for me. The deep quiet spoken verses go with it rock sung passages from (incl. Groans). A very disturbing piece with good guitar work by Major.
Is completed with Affjetaut Pardong. The piece is built by only a cheap drum machine, organ and saxophone.
When track 11 there is heard even more than 37 minutes continuous loop on the CD as a gag, the rhythm machine of Pardong. The LP also had at the end of a continuous groove.
The bonus tracks from CD 2 are live versions of pieces and 7 are from the years 1982/86/88. An interview with Frank Laufenberg there are no more, but you get now Helfe, the None of the legendary Rockpalast in 1982 at the Loreley. A total of 29 minutes of bonus material.
The booklet provides comments on the songs, images and production notes. Lyrics do not exist again. Have been published in a book. Good thing I still have my old vinyl editions with large text inserts. What I do not like when the BAP Remasters, is the uniform design of the back of the CD cover with the tracklisting and the band occupation. I would have liked more individuality on the basis of the original cover. Engineer "Fonz" is because now embezzled whatsoever compared to the original cover.
Production Technically Affjetaut a quantum leap compared to the debut, that sounds more like the recording mostly a hobby band. Quite so styled as the later albums from circa 1984 sounds Affjetaut but not yet, but it still has its own charm.
The remastering is turned out well. However, the CD first publication also sounded good. This version (without bonus tracks) is provided by Amazon as an MP3 Autorip when buying the remastered CD.
Conclusion:
An early highlight in the BAP catalog. Although Pardong and Kumm Op Min Sick are not really my taste. The rest, however, is clearly audible and musically varied. With the dialect I have hardly any problems. With Anna, Ne Beautiful Jrooß and Helfe Kann Dir Keiner the album contains 3 very famous BAP classic. The 3 music followers like me a little bit better. Good 4 stars in the rating there. In the "3 CDs for 15 Euro" campaign (November 2014) recommended there along with other BAP albums very. Cheaper is currently not really up to buy the back catalog of the band.
